December's Children is truly North Dakota's premiere original band! With a catalog of over 400 songs encompassing all genres, there really is something for everyone. The band will be constantly writing and constantly sharing new music on their Patreon page which you can find by clicking the podcast link on the home screen. Patrons will be granted access to the band's discussions on songwriting in which they share both stories and tips they've gathered from years of trial and error. But hey, don't worry, much of the content will be free. Free content includes the "Album Coroners" podcast which has the band critiquing and dissecting classic albums; Finding out what makes them tick. But that's not all!! In an effort to bring attention to original music in North Dakota, December's Children has begun production of a special red river valley songwriters podcast called "DC Exposure" which will include interviews and live in studio performances by some of North Dakotas most talented original bands and solo artists. SO, in other words become a patron today!! North Dakotans, let's put this state on the map. Out of staters, let us help you discover an untapped resource of musical goodness frozen on the prairie tundra.
ATTENTION MIDWEST BANDS: You may ask yourself, "What makes December's Children so great? Why do they think THEY are the only ones who can interview bands and get page hits for it? BOOM!! ANSWER!! Well my friend, we probably aren't the only band that could do this, but we may very well be the only ones who WILL do it. Oh, and our string player Yen Lee Loh studied in Cambridge (yeah that Cambridge). Lead guitarist Kirt Lowe has a degree in music production, and lead singer Ryan Johnston has been in radio for twenty years. Oh, and we've been writing songs for over 2 decades now. In that time we have been asked to perform on numerous television and radio programs, we've had success with music publishers in LA, (like these guys here) and for years we worked with middle school students and helped put their words to music. You can check THAT out here. You see, we really do hate bragging, it doesn't suit us, but if we must show our cred, then show our cred we must. We just want to share the joy of music with the world, be it ours, or others'. And with your help...we will. Thank you.
